PAIN and REHAB : : Motor Vehicle Accident Program
This special program to aide patients who have been in motor vehicle accidents begins with a medical evaluation with a multi-specialty team approach. After determining the scope and extent of your injury or injuries, our physicians, chiropractors, and therapists work together to develop a comprehensive plan to get you back to feeling good again. X-rays and/or MRI may be needed, and on-site nerve conduction studies may be done if nerve involvement is suspected. Medications, including pain relievers, anti-inflammatory agents, and muscle relaxants, are often prescribed as part of this plan. Other treatments can be incorporated, including physiotherapy, muscle therapy, spinal manipulation, and exercise. Trigger point injections as well as epidural/facet injections under fluoroscopy (to ensure the medicine gets to correct location) may also be part of your treatment program.
