An evaluation that incorporates a multi-specialty team approach is first conducted to determine the type of rotator cuff problem. Once completed our physicians, specialists, chiropractors, and therapists work together to develop a comprehensive plan to get you back to feeling good again. X-rays and/or MRI may be necessary, and on-site nerve conduction studies may be done if nerve involvement is suspected. Medications, including pain relievers, anti-inflammatory agents, and muscle relaxants, are sometimes prescribed. Other treatments can be incorporated, including physiotherapy, muscle therapy, spinal manipulation, and exercise. Trigger point injections may also be part of your treatment program.
